This one day conference will give survivors the opportunity to share their stories with congress members, policy experts and the general public, coupled with key panels by military law and policy experts on major topics involving military sexual violence and survivors’ access to justice. It will be the first time in history that survivors of military sexual assault and their families gather collectively to organize for institutional change. This Summit will provide key momentum to drive tactics for reform of Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs policies as well as providing opportunities for oversight and action by elected officials.
